20min Yoga for Stress Relief ~ Yoga Deep Relaxation | Ground & Bloom Yoga
This 20 minute deeply relaxing yoga for stress relief has been designed to ease tightness from key areas of the body that store tension: the hips, hamstrings, shoulders and face. We begin by calming the breath with a couple of minutes of nadi sodhana breathwork, calming the nervous system and signalling the body to relax. Staying connected to the breath, we breathe deep into each pose, opening into greater ranges of movement and peace. This is a full body yoga flow, but we remain grounded on the mat for greater support and ease after a stressful day. This class can be taken at any time of the day, but I recommend trying this as an evening yoga practice. This is yoga with music that gently calms the mind. We will end with a blissful Savasana, relaxing the whole body into the earth.
